'The Walking Dead' debuts Season 3 trailer at Comic-Con 2012

If the four-minute trailer for "The Walking Dead's" third season is any indication, fans of the AMC zombie-pocalypse drama are in for a heck of a ride. Again. The trailer debut to a packed Hall H at Comic-Con on Friday (July 13) and did not disappoint. Not even one bit. Here's why.1. The trailer is taut, to the point and well-paced and gives a taste of what kind of pace to expect: fast and full of zombies.2. The first look at Michonne (Danai Gurira) and the Governor (David Morrissey) in action. Granted, Michonne's action -- taking down zombies with her trusty sword -- is the more exciting. The Governor just chills us with a hard stare and welcomes us to Woodbury.3. Plot point! Andrea and Michonne get "captured" by the Governor, who keeps them -- apparently against their will -- in his fortified zombie-free town.4. Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus). That is all.5. Karl is a... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/07/the-walking-dead-debuts-season-3-trailer-at-comic-con.html

Meet The New 'Walking Dead' Zombies

A new season of " The Walking Dead " means new zombies. For Season 3, "The Walking Dead" is getting even more gruesome and co-executive producer and zombie mastermind Greg Nicotero is taking viewers behind the scenes. In this exclusive video, Nicotero walks through "The Walking Dead's" zombie studio. Old faces -- you may remember that walker who got stuck in the well in Season 2 -- are hanging about with the new decaying stars. "What we did this year was we wanted there to be a sense that if a walker has been killed and has been laying in the sun for five months, six months, seven months, that it's sort of rotted and decayed," Nicotero says in the video below. //feeds.huffingtonpost.com/~r/HP/Entertainment/~3/kAe3M5wJguI/the-walking-dead-season-3-zombies_n_1654072.html

The Walking Dead Bosses Dissect Season 2, Look Ahead to "Action-Packed" Season 3

Say goodbye to the farm and hello to the gritty and dangerous prison! That's where viewers will find the survivors when The Walking Dead returns for Season 3. But don't expect the prison to be a new stronghold for Rick ( Andrew Lincoln ) & Co. in the post-apocalyptic world in which the AMC series takes place. In fact, showrunner Glen Mazzara likens it to a haunted house. (Move over, American Horror Story !) The prison isn't the only new setting. In fact, the season will be divided between the prison and the town of Woodbury, where the newly introduced villain The Governor ( David Morrissey ) holds court. Could that be where the missing Merle Dixon ( Michael Rooker ) has been camped out all these months?
