VAP Sets Japanese ‘The World is Still Beautiful’ Anime DVD/BD Box Set Release

While the season is close to wrapping up, there are still a straggler or two in regards to revealing their home video release information in Japan. one of those is  The World is Still Beautiful , aka  Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii . That’s now been fleshed out as VAP has announced that it will be getting a box set release as opposed to a series of singles and eventually a box set. Crunchyroll Adds ‘The World Is Still Beautiful’ For Spring 2014 Anime Lineup

Crunchyroll continues to beef up their lineup for the very busy spring season with the acquisition of  The World is Still Beautiful  aka  Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii . This new acquisition is set to begin streaming for viewers on Saturday, April 5th, 2014 at 3pm ET. The show has a decent range of availability to it as it’s open to members in the  U.S.A, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Central and South America, and the Caribbeans. ‘Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii’ Anime Reveals First Promo

Announced in January as coming this spring with Studio Pierrot set to handle the series,  Sore Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii  revealed its first trailer. Previously announced, Rena Maeda will be performing the ending theme to the series and we get a taste of that here in the minute and a half promo. Rena Maeda set to play Nike Remercier while Nobunaga Shimazaki will take on the role of Livius I. Maeda doesn’t have a lot of roles to her name, mostly just in smaller parts across a few shows in the last couple of years, with this one marking her debut as a lead. Shimazaki on the other hand has a range of credits that has him as a lead, including the currently airing  Ace of Diamond  as well as  Buddy complex . He’ll also be a crowd pleaser with his time spent as Haruka Nanase in  Free! t hat’s coming back for another season this summer. ‘Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii’ Anime Adds Supporting Cast

Announced in January as coming this spring with Studio Pierrot set to handle the series,  Sore Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii  has added a few more people to the cast. ‘Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii’ Anime Adds More Cast, Key Visual

More casting information has come out for the spring 2014 series  Soredemo Sekai wa  Utsukushii, which is being animated by studio Pierrot. The character of Neil is set to be played by Tomokazu Sugita, Mira by Mariya Ise, Kara by Yuka Terasaki, Lani by Daisuke Namikawa  and Near by Ai Kayano. ‘Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii’ Anime Staff, Character Designs Revealed

Announced in January as coming this spring with Studio Pierrot set to handle the series,  Sore Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii  has a few more details revealed about the production. The series will be directed by Hajime Kamegaki who has handled a couple of feature films as well as  Fushigi Yugi  OVA’s and several TV episodes, a number of  Lupin the 3rd  specials and served as an episode director for part of  Magic Knight Rayearth . Character designer for the series will be Ichiro Uno, whose most reecntly work has been in the new  Hajime no Ippo  series as doing key animation for the opening and first episode. Largely working in key animation side of many shows for the past decade, this is his first full character design job. ‘Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii’ Anime Adaptation Studio Named

Announced a few days ago as being a part of the spring anime series, we’ve now got confirmation of the studio behind  Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii , the latest shoujo series to get some good treatment. According to the latest issue of Hana to Yume that will arrive next week, Studio Pierrot will be tackling the series while adding that more details will arrive with the February 5th issue of the magazine. Based on the manga series that began in 2011 after a pair of one-shots by Dai Shiina, it’s been running in Hana to Yume and has five volumes out so far in Japan. No details about the production have formally been revealed yet but it’s expected that there will be more come January 20th in that issue of Hana to Yume, which ties into the release of the sixth volume of the manga as well.
