'The X Factor' may hire Demi Lovato with Britney Spears

"The X Factor" judging panel may be very Disney-heavy this season. Of course, Britney Spears is nearing a $15 million deal (with plenty of extra perks tossed in) to be a judge -- and now it looks like Demi Lovato is also in the running for a place on the panel. Both, of course, began their careers as teens on Disney Channel shows.Of course, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid are fixtures on the show, and Spears is looking like a relatively sure thing. Until today, rumors swirled that Miley Cyrus was in talks to take the fourth spot, though no offer had been made. Somewhat hilariously, The Hollywood Reporter -- who originally reported Lovato's talks -- says that Cowell was looking for a brunette to fill the final place on the panel. We're glad his criteria is so specific.... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/05/the-x-factor-may-hire-demi-lovato-with-britney-spears.html

But in the end, she says, "I think we both decided together that it wouldn't work out. I think it was the best decision." Minaj is just the latest to turn down "The X Factor." Cee Lo Green Is Confident About 'The Voice' Taking On 'The X Factor'

It was like the battle rounds all over again, only this time it was Cee Lo Green facing off against Simon Cowell and " The X Factor ." Green was on " The Tonight Show " (Weeknights, 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC), where he was inevitably asked how he feels his show, " The Voice ," will fare this coming fall season when it has to face off against Cowell's "X Factor." "The premises of each show are just completely different," Green said, then adding, "I think if anybody should be concerned, it’s them.” Considering "The Voice" is running neck and neck with TV's perennial -- but much smaller this year -- juggernaut " American Idol " in the ratings, Green may have reason to feel confident. "The X Factor" underperformed both the network's and Cowell's expectations and is currently undergoing a rather significant overhaul. For now, enjoy Cee Lo Green every Monday at 7 p.m. ET and Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC's "The Voice," and then come back for the epic battle in Fall 2012. TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser. //feeds.huffingtonpost.com/~r/HP/Entertainment/~3/ePNrelROXP8/cee-lo-green-is-confident-voice-v-x-factor-video_n_1404839.html
