X Factor 2013: Should Lillie McCloud Have Gone Home?

We nearly choked on our third helping of turkey and gravy last Thursday when Lillie McCloud got the boot from Season 3 of The X Factor. Not only was Lillie one of the show’s most talented performers, she didn’t even get a chance to perform a Save Me Song. Instead the 54-year-old grandma from Florida was sent home during the Thanksgiving night double elimination before being joined by the episode’s other casualty, Josh Levi. Viewers get to vote to keep their favorite contestants on X Factor,... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/aKTB3MGtnMw/2013-12-03-should-lillie-mccloud-gone-home

X Factor 2013: When Is the Season 3 Finale?

Despite a less than stellar Season 3 in terms of ratings, The X Factor is trudging ahead over on Fox. Now, after several weeks of double eliminations, we’re wondering when we’ll be getting down to the final contestants and the season’s grand finale. Scheduling has been all over the map for the show of late, what with the World Series interrupting the normal course of things at the end of October and then a tech glitch throwing off voting for a week or so early in November. Everything’s since... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/Ov-U9bpySvo/2013-11-21-when-is-season-3-finale-shows

'X Factor': One Direction performs 'Story of My Life' - watch

The headlining act for "The X Factor" Top 10 results show was One Direction, the global superstar boy band that got its start on "The X Factor UK" -- and the first British band since the Beatles to have two no. 1 albums in the same year. Weirdly, the graphic in the video package reads "64 number one hits." What does that mean? Because they haven't released anywhere near that many songs, let along had them chart at no. 1. Does that count all the different countries where a song charted at no. 1? It must. Hmm.Anyway, the five boys from Britain perform "Story of My Life" to the legion of screaming fans in the audience. It's off their new album "Midnight Memories," which drops Monday, Nov. 24. We'll post video of the performance as soon as we have it. After the performance, Liam Payne (who is I think is my favorite because he's super... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/11/x-factor-one-direction-performs-story-of-my-life---watch.html

'X Factor' Top 10 results: Khaya Cohen, Tim Olstad or Carlito Olivero, who goes home?

Time to whittle down from the Top 10 to the Top 8 on "The X Factor" as two more acts are sent home. Who do you think has had their journeys come to an end?At the top of the hour, the act that is the lowest vote-getter and therefore leaves without a chance to sing for the save is ... Khaya Cohen. Wow. That is kind of a stunning result. She was one of the top vocalists both weeks here since America has been voting. Terrible. When there are more results -- after One Direction performs -- the two that have to sing for their lives are Tim Olstad and Carlito Olivero. For my money, this isn't even close. Tim is a much stronger singer than Carlito. But we'll see.For Tim's save song, his call is Josh Groban's "You Raise Me Up," which is good choice for him. He really shines on stuff like this.... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/11/x-factor-top-10-results-khaya-cohen-tim-olstad-or-carlito-olivero-who-goes-home.html

'The X Factor' Predictions: Who Will Go Home from the Top 10?

It's another double elimination on The X Factor with two acts going home, getting us down to the Top 8. After Khaya Cohen was in the bottom last week, will she be in danger again? Will Simon Cowell's predictions actually come true this week? And will any mentor be down to a single act or even eliminated entirely from the competition? //www.buddytv.com/articles/the-x-factor/the-x-factor-predictions-who-w-51938.aspx

'X Factor's' Restless Road: One Direction are 'so laid-back and nice'

The guys of Restless Road turned in what we thought was their best performance so far on "The X Factor" Wednesday (Nov. 20) when they took on Coldplay's "Fix You" -- but the judges thought they were not together. The guys tell Zap2it it was hard to hear themselves, plus they were kind of distracted by the fans being so close. "During the song we couldn't hear ourselves," says Colton (middle). "So we definitely want to go back and watch it so if that was an issue we can definitely fix it because that's ultimately what's going to make us better as a group.""I think I actually kicked someone in the head on the stage, while standing on the platform," says Andrew (left). Zach (right) adds, "I was scared I was going to step on people's fingers because they were all over the stage, oh my gosh. They kept grabbing my leg."But the guys appreciated... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/11/x-factors-restless-road-one-direction-are-so-laid-back-and-nice.html
