'X Factor': Alex & Sierra on 'Say Something' and Destiny's Child

After weeks and weeks of "The X Factor" live shows --and weeks and weeks of critiques from the four judges -- Alex and Sierra finally have tough enough skin that the criticisms don't affect them as much. "I think I have just gotten to the point where I really want good comments from them but I'm kind of like whatever happens happens and I'm gonna just not care what anyone says even though I really do care," Sierra tells Zap2it backstage after her performance on the Top 6 live show. Adds Alex, "She's convinced herself that she doesn't care. ... It's fun watching her be this Sierra, because this is the Sierra I've always known. It's fun to see her not afraid of what someone's going to say to her. She's just doing what she does and leaving it all up there." Luckily, though, their feedback was universally positive -- probably because they absolutely destroyed (in... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/12/x-factor-alex-and-sierra-on-say-something-and-singing-destinys-child-in-front-of-kelly-rowland.html

Fox may have seen weaker ratings at The X Factor this season, but the show last year boosted the financials of the TV production business of Syco Entertainment, the joint venture of Simon Cowell and Sony that produces The X Factor and Got Talent formats. 'X Factor' Top 6: Jeff Gutt and Ellona Santiago bring it

After last week's shocking elimination, the Top 6 for the "X Factor" know that anyone can go home in any given week, so they gotta bring it. The theme this week is diva hits for song no. 1 and unplugged for song no. 2. 1. Restless Road, "Red" and "Wake Me Up"Well, this starts out pretty well, though there aren't a lot of discernible harmonies. However, the tall one really needs help with his stage presence -- he seriously just wanders and bops around out there. Also, his solo on this song was terrible. Really bad. It's not enough that he can sing low, girls who are screaming like banshees. He needs to be on key, too. Oof.Their second song is miles better -- there are harmonies, the solos are pretty strong. I mean, we all know this group is going to win it all and then fade into oblivion, right? They're obviously very popular... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/12/x-factor-top-6-jeff-gutt-and-ellona-santiago-bring-it.html

X Factor 2013: Who Should Be Eliminated From the Top 6?

We hate to say it but it’s pretty obvious who should be eliminated from The X Factor this week. Don’t get us wrong. Everyone is incredible in the Season 3’s final six contestants but one person in particular didn’t measure up during December 4’s Live Show. Carlito Olivero, we love you like the musical brother we never had, but your time on X Factor may be done. Carlito’s been in the bottom several weeks in a row with the judges critiquing his seeming discomfort on stage. The 24-year-old... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/UBojSxu2Zpw/2013-12-04-who-go-home-top-6
