Ashton Kutcher plugs business interests during 'Two and a Half Men'

Product placements are seemingly everywhere on TV. From "CSI" to "The Biggest Loser" to "The Amazing Race," shows are littered with corporate subsidies. But leave it up to Ashton Kutcher to take this to a new level. The star of "Two and a Half Men," who plays Internet billionaire Walden Schmidt, is using his new show to plug businesses he has ties with.In the episode that aired Monday (Sept. 26), Schmidt is seen working away on his laptop with clearly visible logos from Internet firms Flipboard, Foursquare, GroupMe and Hipmunk. Kutcher has a financial stake in each of these firms. The other logo is from the online textbook rental firm Chegg. While Kutcher isn't an investor, he has business interest in that his firm Katalyst handles social media for them. What's interesting in this case is that CBS didn't benefit financially from these plugs. A CBS spokesperson tells Variety, "This was not part of any advertising transaction... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/09/ashton-kutcher-plugs-business-interests-during-two-and-a-half-men.html

Alan and Walden Wind Up Naked and Lying Together on 'Two and a Half Men' (VIDEO)

'Two and a Half Men' (Mon., 9PM ET on CBS) definitely feels like a completely different show with Walden Schmidt. For the second episode in a row, though, they did manage to get him naked. At least this time he was covered by a blanket rather than pixels. After a bender to drown Walden's sorrows over his impending divorce, he and Alan were convinced to go skinny dipping by Berta, who's voiceover throughout the episode made it clear where her thoughts lie in regards to her new employer. Judy Greer returned to the show, only this time she's Walden's ex-wife Bridget. So rather than a womanizing middle-aged man, we have a sad and suicidal lonely younger guy that even Charlie's ex-girlfriends can't say no to. //www.aoltv.com/2011/09/27/alan-and-walden-wind-up-naked-lying-together-on-two-and-a-half/
