Undercover Boss Recap 12/28/16: Season 8 Episode 3 “New York & Co”

Greg Scott is the latest CEO on tonight’s all new episode of "Undercover Boss" and he’s lead quite an interesting life. Greg had apparently been grown up in Napa, California and he had been raised by his father after his parents after his parents had split up. But luckily Greg and his dad had had an amazing relationship. He remembers his father as the one of the first to believe in him and he had counted the other man as his best friend growing up however his father unfortunately, passed as when he was college and he was sort of left without support after that. His birth mother hadn’t really been around and so Greg had more or less drifted towards his work without anyone to fall back on. So that eventually turned out to be a good thing for Greg. Undercover Boss Premiere Recap 12/21/16: Season 8 Episode 1 and 2

This week on the season premiere of Undercover Boss Sharon John, the CEO of Build A Bear is going undercover in one of her stores to experience life as her employees do in the Build A Bear stores. Sharon talks about how Build a Bear is the only store that allows people to build their own furry friends. She says "Unfortunately from 2008 to 2012 we had some tough years and had to revamp. When I started in 2012 we revamped things and opened a Discovery store." She also talks about how she has talked about how she has rebuilt some of the biggest brands in the world. Wienerschnitzel CEO and Chairperson Cynthia Galardi-Culpepper is just the latest person to get a makeover on tonight’s all new episode of "Undercover Boss". Apparently Cynthia had been married to John Galardi. John had opened Wienerschnitzel back in 1961 and the reason he had gone into hot dogs was because he hadn’t wanted to compete with his best friend who would go on to open Taco Bell. So while the business may have begun as a way to make a name for himself without encroaching on anyone else, it probably never crossed his mind that Wienerschnitzel eventually become the biggest hot dog chain in the world. The company had originally been opened by his grandfather and eventually his own father had taken over everyday operation but while this family company has had great success stories there had also been a few lean years. Apparently things had been great after his father had sold the company and Greg decided to stay on as CEO. And in fact, the company had experienced a golden year under Greg direction. But that had been in 2007 and by the next year the economy had tanked. So Greg was forced into making some cuts and that led to great amount of shuffling around.
