Wayward Pines Season 2 Episode 6 Review: City Upon a Hill

The situation is growing more and more dire as supplies are dwindling and food is running out. The stakes are raised and Wayward Pines Season 2 Episode 6 claimed yet another victim. Okay, it actually claimed more than thirty victims, but only one that matters to us.   Read More...   //www.tvfanatic.com/2016/06/wayward-pines-season-2-episode-6-review-city-upon-a-hill/

'Wayward Pines' Recap: Who Are the Real Monsters?

The title "City Upon A Hill" insinuates a genesis tale is on the way, but that's egregiously misleading. Not much about Pilcher's Eden becomes clear in Wayward Pines ' sixth episode, but the inferences and visuals are chilling enough to jar even the most hardened stomach. Something wicked (or maybe simply survivalist) is brewing among the Abbies, but once again the episode leaves us with more questions than answers. Not a judgement, just an observation. Shyamalan manages to keep a stranglehold on his secrets while tantalizing the hell out of us without boring us into giving up.   Read More... //www.buddytv.com/articles/wayward-pines/wayward-pines-recap-city-on-a-60441.aspx

Wayward Pines Recap: Everything We Thought We Knew Just Changed

Wayward Pines ' "Sound the Alarm" introduced us to our first-ever lady abbie, revealed a secret marriage between two main characters, and put the town's underage sex initiative on-screen right in front of our disbelieving eyes. While every plot twist packed into this episode raised about a thousand ...   Read More...     //www.tvguide.com/news/wayward-pines-sound-the-alarm-recap/?rss=breakingnews

'Wayward Pines' Recap: Rebecca's Dark Past Comes to Light

Several bombs are dropped in Wayward Pines ' fifth episode, "Sound the Alarms." A watershed of revelations is dumped on us poor (lucky) viewers in regard to Rebecca's participation in Pilcher's project and her history with Xander. Finally, we get some answers. And guess what? We were right about some things; wrong about others, but things are starting to come together interestingly for Shyamalan's psychological thriller.   Read More... //www.buddytv.com/articles/wayward-pines/wayward-pines-recap-60383.aspx

Wayward Pines Season 2 Episode 5 Review: Sound the Alarm

The plot thickens on Wayward Pines Season 2 Episode 5 . We now know why Rebecca seems to have so much pull in Wayward Pines and why she's able to get away with more than the rest of the town. She designed it! It's not really shocking. We already knew she was an architect, so it makes perfect sense. Still, it was interesting to see how it all played out through the flashbacks.   Read More...   //www.tvfanatic.com/2016/06/wayward-pines-season-2-episode-5-review-sound-the-alarm/

'Wayward Pines': Whose Side is Rebecca On?

We're four episodes into Wayward Pines' second season and I still can't figure out how Rebecca Yedlin rolls. She's intelligent, well-spoken, and rational (or is she?) and we want to like her. We want her to be a good person. But the question hangs over our heads: Was she part of the futuristic cryogenics project from the beginning? She seems to know a lot more than she's letting on, my friends, but she also gives off a very genuine vibe. I'm flummoxed.   Read More... //www.buddytv.com/articles/wayward-pines/wayward-pines-whos-side-is-reb-60306.aspx

Wayward Pines Recap: Venturing Outside the Walls

Wayward Pines ' "Exit Strategy" got away with some things, guys. It feels like Season 2 as a whole is getting away with something. Like it's just too risky, too ambitious, too dark to be on network TV. I mean, come on, imagine for a moment a network pitch room, development executives on one side of ...   //www.tvguide.com/news/wayward-pines-recap-exit-strategy/?rss=breakingnews
