Ah, so Jason was "groomed" to lead after Pilcher. Probably something they should have mentioned since it now seems like retroactive justification for why he's in charge following Season 1. Another silly writing decision, and yet another Season 1 survivor needlessly brought back. This show is not doing well.

I'm wondering if they had put Pam's body outside of the fence , would they have been able to infect the Abbys' because they are definitely not gone yet.
