'Wipeout's' Jill Wagner: 'I can't always contain my energy'

But the Macy's 4th of July fireworks special on NBC posted its biggest numbers in the 9 p.m. hour since 2000, with nearly 11 million watching the last 30 minutes of the fireworks.NBC won the night with 6.6 million viewers and a 4.0 rating/9 share in households. Host Jill Wagner made her triumphant return to "Wipeout" on Thursday (May 9), earning an "I'm bring sexy back!" from commentator John Henson, and then a flashback where she was lured into a giant box with a plateful of donuts as a way to capture her in the wild and get her back on the show. Heh. "Happy to be back," says Wagner, slipping right back into the host role. She left the show after the 2011 season to pursue her acting career and was replaced in 2012 by Vanessa Lachey.
