This show was my first experience with Bryan Fuller and I fell in love. This is the least morbid of his shows, so it is a good one to start with. Just know going in that Bryan does not take himself very seriously, so it may be a bit quirkier than you are used to.

Fun and dramatic. You never really know what is going to happen. Odd in just the right ways and has great performances from everyone involved. Saddened that it only lasted a season, but I'm so glad it got to exist.

Delightful. I LOVED it. Sad it was gone before I knew it existed. But well worth watching anyway.

WHIMSICAL LITTLE SLICE of imaginative TV. Great, uplifting binge-watch. **SIDEREEL if you're still listing shows to be watched WE WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE SHOW ITSELF. Not who produced and aired it in 2004. LAME.

Its a shame this show didn't last longer. It was the perfect blend of whimsy, drama, comedy and fantasy. At the same time creates realistic and relatable characters. It didn't go about trying to explain a supernatural phenomenon, but simply played with the idea and made the series fun to watch. Really wish they had made a movie to give the viewer some closure on the story-lines.

Brian Fuller is brilliant, and this show is the second best argument to prove that. Great characters, uniquely quirky premise, and some good mysteries. A great show!

Its what I call a Fix It show, where the protagonist has to solve a problem each episode to fix an issue. There is a mystical twist on this but its pretty much fun all the way through and they don't dwell on the fantasy or crazy angle much. It was a particularly well written show, but I can see how the talking animal running gag would not have worked for another season and they wrapped it up nicely like that was planned all along, which fits right into the general theme of Fixing It by the end of the show. I would have had the sheep say the same thing at the end that it said at the beginning to start and end the loop in recursion, but its was fine for an ending. It does get quite crazy about 2/3s of the way through the season but in a good way; like a movie. Several of the actors are now rather famous. It was Pace's first gig.

Drama comedy. Inanimate objects start talking to Jaye and tell her to do things. The funny thing is she does those things ending up doing good for ppl. Witty and whimsical and also quirky

Never understood the love for this show. It was whimsical for the sake of being whimsical and it was annoying.
