Third ‘World Trigger’ Japanese Anime Blu-ray Covers Revealed

With the third release of World Trigger due out one May 13th, 2015, Toei Animation Japan has now revealed what the cover artwork is going to look like for the volume in its regular and limited edition forms. They recently brought the volume count up to eight volumes, with more to be coming in the future due to the length of the series. The second volume is set for an April 8th, 2015 release. The releases look to have three episodes on it with the Blu-ray priced at 6,800 yen while the DVD is priced at 5,800 yen. READ MORE...

‘World Trigger’ Anime Series Episode Count Set At Fifty

With the first blush home video release information starting to come out at last for  World Trigger , fans of the show are in for a bit of a surprise. With eight volumes of source material to work off of, Toei Animation has set a 50 episode schedule for the series, according to the European Toei Animation site. The series began this season and is being simulcast into multiple territories through Crunchyroll, though it’s getting a fair bit of grief from fans for how it’s being adapted and the animation quality itself. ‘World Trigger’ Anime Begins Hulu Digital Distribution

While Crunchyroll kicked off their run of  World Trigger  earlier this week, Toei Animation is getting their series out in front of more people as the first episode is now available on Hulu. The show is in its original Japanese language with subtitles and those with a Hulu Plus subscription can watch this show in HD on their TV, mobile and computer. The is directed by Mitsuru Hongo at Toei Animation based on scripts by Hiroyuki Yoshino and character designs by Toshihisa Kaiya, who is also handling the animation director duties. Crunchyroll Adds ‘World Trigger’ For Fall 2014 Anime Lineup

It continues to be a busy day at Crunchyroll as the new series start kicking off this weekend. The next on their list is  World Trigger , which will premiere on Saturday, October 4, at 6:30pm Eastern Time. Latest ‘World Trigger’ Anime Promo Highlights Characters

The anime adaptation of  World Trigger  is getting closer and closer and now a new promotional video has landed that shows off the cast and characters of the series. Focusing on that aspect works well since over the course of the minute that it runs, we get to see their designs, voice work basics and some of their style/abilities as well. More ‘World Trigger’ Anime Cast Announced

The reveals for the cast of this series has been interesting as it’s been staggered and disconnected from roles at first and then clarified later. Now, after most of the main cast was announced, a few more casting reveals have landed for the anime adaptation of the manga series  World Trigge r by Daisuke Ashihara. Check out the full list below! The series is being produced by Toei Animation and set for a Fall 2014 broadcast in Japan with an expected overseas simulcast as well. The timing works out well as the manga is being released here in the fall as well. Now the official Japanese side has updated with news of the voice cast for the series. With the announcement just about a month ago from Shonen Jump that the manga series  World Trigger  by Daisuke Ashihara will be getting an anime adaptation for TV broadcast, we’ve now got a season attachment for it. The show is getting a planned October 2014 debut. This will time out nicely for North American fans as it’s expected that the show will get a simulcast and it comes as the manga will premiere here. The upcoming anime adaptation is going to be working off the manga that began last year in Weekly Shonen Jump, which has been available digitally in North America to readers via Viz Media. With the sixth volume of the manga having been released, they put together a new two minute video to promote the property with technoplanet providing the music.
