I know the idea of the show is a little out there, but that is why I love it. It gets better as it goes as it has action, adventure, twists and turns and lions, tigers and bears and more as the whole world is a Zoo. Oh my.

Animals are awesome, and the leads are hot, but the premise is intolerably stupid.

Hmmm? okay, for a first episode it was okay, I know that they set the story, introduce the characters BUT to me it just seemed to try a LITTLE too hard on biging the feline species up a little too much, they needed to have a different mix of animals attacking people in the first episode to give it MORE doomsday imminent feel.

James Patterson (the guy who wrote the novel) and the producers of this show MUST BE cat lovers, guess what.. I HATE cats, but this show was okay, I just hope they broaden the attacks by animal groups cos if they don't.. I can watch all this stuff on Animal Planet. After season one had finished I REALLY love this show, great cast, story, acting by the cast is fantastic, cant wait for the next season.

Season 1 - 8.5/10
Season 2 - 10/10 (so far..)

MY GOD! they've turned this into a horror tv show now also on top of the end of the world thing.. LOVE IT!

Finally, a show that hasn't been done before. It is a very interesting idea. I wonder how would it go if it really happens. We do abuse nature. The idea of nature fighting back is fascinating. The problem is that most everyone thing that it will never happen. I think it could happen one day.

This show has the same effect as a car crash - it's so horrible you just can't look away. The premise sounds amazing, a bunch of animals rising up against humanity in a wild bloody frenzy. The pilot, however, fails to deliver the intense potential it has, and instead focuses way too much on introducing it's characters who play on the cliche's of TV. This is, simply put, just one of those shows that should never have been a show, but would have worked well for a movie - again - the premise is amazing! Who doesn't want to see a crazy CGI lion fight a cobra over a corpse?

I thought the pilot was "just okay"...I'll watch again next week and see if it improves. UPDATE: Ep 2 was slightly better, but not so good as to move up my rating. Oh summer, how you give bad shows a chance... I can't wait for fall.

ZOO - SEASON ONE

Stupid conventional TV writing and even worse acting bring down this promising premise. Still it's fun to watch animals go amok. The concept is so big and so good as an epic cautionary tale that you have to be at least curious.

It started out really good, but then seemed to get slow and boring and nothing happened. I stopped watching after the first season.

This show isn't bad. The story is ok. The actors do a decent job. The writing could be a wee bit better, but I guess they weren't trying to over do it in the beginning. I am a nature loving person who doesn't care much for humanity anymore (if a person were drowning at the same time a kitten was, you can be damn sure I would save the kitten first). Mankind loves to kill elefants, whales, bears, baby seals, rhinos, polar wolves, etc etc etc for greed and/or sport; oh yeah, and each other for power and,of course, also greed. So I love a plot where nature is gearing up for some well earned payback. I hope that the writers get away from cliche drama like your typical bad person plotting against the good guys and it takes the characters we like a whole frigging season to go against them. Too many shows have that kind of lame over used way of filming. Its boring. I am really looking forward to the next season and cross my fingers that nature gets the payback it has deserved for a loooong time now.

dear powers at be and writers showrunners if you know you are writing show that might get cancelled at any minute especially a show so fantastical as zoo that only was shown in the summer then give the show a proper ending and not another cliffhanger, too many shows get cancelled without a proper ending and the audience who watch the series and faithful to the over the top storyline is left with cliffhanger for a conclusion for the show. So Logan gets killed clem's baby is kidnapped by an extreme animal Lady who thinks animals and her should be the only thing roaming the earth. Now there is no resolution for this show because CBS has cancelled it.
