Father Ted

Dermot Morgan's final performance is his magnum opus: Father Ted is a sitcom of unsurpassed quality. If I'm only ever allowed to watch one sitcom for the rest of eternity, this would be it.

The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead is like smoking: it's terrible, but you just can't stop. The show has campy dialogue, an agonizingly slow plot, characters going momentarily stupid for said plot, frequent use of deus ex and all that topped off with disappointing cliffhangers at every turn.

Still, here I am, eagerly awaiting the next half of the season. Maybe I'm the real zombie in this affair?

Marvel's Iron Fist

Straight up mediocre, but easy to watch. Thankfully, the extremely high production values, enchanting performances by the supporting cast and well-choreographed fight scenes keep things pleasant.

If you're a fan of the comics expecting a faithful rendition, this one isn't for you. The campy, but light-hearted and immutable, Danny Rand has been replaced by an irrational and irritable man-child. Thematically, it's also much edgier/grittier than the original material, but if you don't give two craps about that and have enjoyed the other Marvel Netflix shows so far, chances are you'll enjoy this one too.
