Home Improvement Reviews & Ratings

The series centered on the antics of the Taylor family, which, along with Tim, included his pedantic wife Jill (Patricia Richardson) and their three mischievous sons: the popular and athletic Brad (Zachery Ty Bryan), comedian and intellectual Randy (Jonathan Taylor Thomas), and the socially awkward youngest son, Mark (Taran Noah Smith). The show is set in Metro Detroit, as evidenced by the many references to the area in the show (especially local colleges, whose shirts are worn by Tim in the show).

Watched it as a kid and watched it like 10 years later. Understood a lot more of it and its one fine ass show for the whole family.

This is a sitcom where I would love to watch every episode. Have only seen a few. But if it was between watching a new episode of this and one of another show that I haven't seen every episode of (Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens, etc.) I would choose this show.

Funny and mostly family friendly, Home Improvement is a great sitcom to watch. Tim Allen as Tim the Tool Man Taylor is genuinely fun to watch. Will make you and the whole family laugh.

Staple viewing when I was a kid, what's not to like about a grown man showing that no matter what you never have to grow up. Seriously, they covered some pretty dark topics over the years and his default mode was always behave like a monkey and everyone will laugh. A long suffering wife who found it hard to keep a straight face and 3 kids that looked so different that you knew she slept around, in fact that would explain always laughing at her husband.

Another old school show from the '90s. I watched it to see Tim Taylor fail and get away with it - a role model for a whole generation. Entertaining still and educational on how not to do almost anything!
