Cats pilots the shuttle towards the Copernicus, but cannot dock, and the Ilea loses his signal. Chantal is worried about volcanic activity on Io, and Finbow takes the Ilea to a lower orbit. Alex uses the Medicom terminal to hack into Herlinde's personnel file. Cats returns to the Ilea and advises that the entry ports on the Copernicus are dead, so he could not gain access, but proposes forcing his way in by EVA. Chantal warns that radiation levels will exceed safety limits within 18 hours. Alex tries and fails to log on to the Copernicus's systems.
