In 1972, Ron Howard, Anson Williams and Marion Ross starred in a skit that resulted in a spin-off show, `Happy Days.' Popular, playful and never taken even remotely seriously, `Love' ran from 1969 to '74, and inspired a 1985 remake, `New Love, American Style.'
