Sara Tetro hosts an Auckland-set search for the next top Kiwi model. In the first episode, model Angela Dunn is a guest judge helping whittle down the hopefuls from 33 semifinalists to the 13 who will make it into the house. The semifinalists include a pair of sisters, a 16 year-old, someone with more modeling experience than she intends to tell the competition about, and a determined girl who rubs others the wrong way. As expected on Top Model shows - drama! Also pretty much standard - a guest judge will join the regular panel each week. Here, that panel consists of Tetro, photographer Chris Sisarich, and model Colin Mathura-Jeffree.
