A fake news program which satirizes the daily headlines with a focus on politics. The BEST show of its kind, The Daily Show is always fresh and funny. Never feels preachy just informative and fun.

Theres never a wrong time or mood to watch The Daily Show. Its a good show for the people who don't really like to (or don't have time to) watch the whole news report. Its a great way to end the day, and you'll never be without a smile.

Jon Stewart Is The Funniest Man On TV PERIOD!! He Strikes The Perfect Balance Between Making Fun Of And Seriously Criticizing Inportant Issues. I'm Gonna Miss Him So Much When He Steps Down This August, No Matter How Good Trevor Noah Is He's No Jon Stewart,And No One Could Ever BE!! Thank You Jon For Making Life A Whole Of A Lot Funnier.

Jon Stewart is amazing and he will be forever missed. Waiting to see how Trevor Noah will fill his shoes. I've liked his segments so far, but skeptical about my enthusiasm for the show as it goes in a different direction.

This is where I get my evening news. There is nothing better. Not all jokes hit the mark, but Jon Stewart is hilarious, smart, and on point. I know I need to keep up with the world, and The Daily Show is a fun way to do that.

New host, Trevor Noah, deserves a new review. This show got a much needed facelift. CC finally realized there are people of colour and women who watch TV and are actually adding shows and hosts to try to win us over. Trevor was a great choice. He is smart and funny and brings a different perspective to a show that until recently liked to pretend it was global.

OLD REVIEW (for the Jon Stewart years.) It's often funny though clearly targeted towards stoned adolescent white males. The studio audience is frequently annoying and easily pleased by lame references to penises and pot with no real humour necessary.

The correspondents are great. They are the main reason to watch the show. They come and go but a lot of great talent has gone through there often to go on to better shows of their own.

The political interviews are frequently well done. Too bad so many of the interviews are boring celeb sound bites just to sell a bad film. And Stewart's friends. Those interviews are weak. I usually just skip the celeb interviews and go right the Moment of Zen.

Great writers and a great host ridicule the stupidity of USA life - mainly government. BRILLIANT.
Warning first ten minutes is often very local humour.
Good array of guests too.
Downside: unless you are in the states you cannot access their website - so when Jon says and we will put that up on the web - its lost to you!

Update: Once Jon has left I will stop watching so avidly - I think 'The Nightly Show' is more my taste anyway.
