Cousin Oliver & Company: The Best (and Worst) Late-Season Character Additions
Andy Bernard (The Office)
04/12/2020 - By SideReel Staff
After Jim professed his love to Pam, things got awkward and he transferred from Scranton to the Stamford branch at the start of season three. Stamford had its own cast of quirky office dwellers, including Cornell graduate Andy Bernard, who aptly gave Jim the nickname “Big Tuna” when he brought a tuna fish sandwich to lunch, once. When the Stamford branch closed, Andy came along with Jim back to Scranton, where he punched holes in walls, frequently referenced his acapella group Here Comes Treble, played the banjo, and sucked up to as many authority figures as possible. Eventually his brown-nosing paid off when Andy worked his way up to branch manager and became a major character in the show's later seasons.
