'Pretty Little Liars' S7E16: The Glove That Rocks the Cradle

★ ★ ★ ★

Now that there are just a handful of episodes left, things in Rosewood are really picking up. Emison finally had that relationship-sealing kiss, Lucas was exposed for lying about his friendship with Charlotte, and Aria got to bust up yet another room. It's nice that in the show's final episodes they are paying homage to some of the classics by letting our favorite liar destroy an unborn infant's room. This episode also included an A ending that makes it look like someone's dying soon…

But before I get to that, let's talk about the highlights.

For a minute it looked like Spencer was actually going to jail. Her elevator hook-up turned arresting officer Marco had her backed into a corner during her police interview. Nice to see a liar almost get into trouble.

Hanna destroyed police evidence at the Radley... again. But this time it was to protect Spencer and heal their friendship after the whole "I don't love Caleb anymore, you can date him, oh wait, I still love him" thang.

Mona finally asked, "How many times do I have to save all of you before I'm finally part of the group?" I mean, for real! Homegirl has been helping them out since the end of Season 3.

As for Lucas, it was bombshell after bombshell this week. So he kept in touch with Charles through email. He complained to Charles/Charlotte about how Alison was a bully and her group of friends just watched it happen. Lucas took back the lie he told the police to give Hanna an alibi for Charlotte's murder last season. Even though the episode ended with Lucas confessing that he invested all of his money in Hanna and is broke now, he still seems pretty shady.

But hands down the funniest line of the episode was Alison shouting at Lucas, "You smeared blood on a crib!"

The big question after "The Glove That Rocks the Cradle":

Who's going to die next?
