Upfront News: Day 4 - FOX

FOX had their upfronts today, and though FOX only has 2 new shows for Fall and a few others for Spring, I think that their new stuff is among the most exciting out of all of the networks!

First up is Fringe from JJ Abrams, which will be airing Tuesdays at 9 PM (House is moving back to Tuesdays, but at 8 PM). The show is a procedural about a scientist who teams up with an FBI agent to investigate unexplained phenomena. Normally, I might scoff at that description, but JJ Abrams never disappoints (one word - Lost), so I have high hopes for the show. Furthermore, Fringe is starring the best part of Dawson's Creek, Joshua Jackson.

FOX's only other new show for Fall is Do Not Disturb (formerly "The Inn"), a comedy starring Jerry O'Connell and Niecy Nash.

The 24 2 hour prequel movie will also be airing in the Fall (November 23).

Spring will bring us Dollhouse from Joss Whedon, Cleveland (the Family Guy spinoff), Secret Millionaire (a new reality show) and Class Dismissed, an animated series from Mitch Hurwitz (creator of Arrested Development) featuring the voices of a number of AD alums (yay!).

Most exciting renewal: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Most upsetting cancellations: New Amsterdam and Back to You

I'm a little worried about the Family Guy spinoff being horrible, but Class Dismissed sounds cool - definitely looking forward to that one!

guys, it might be true that they have exciting stuff coming up, but what sense does it make to get into a show, specially the ones that are unique, if its getting cancelled anyway. We are talking about FOX here.
