this period show tells an amazing story of childbirth and the midwives who cared for and advocated for their patients in such a fearful and poor time before women were given an option to not have children

I COULDNT GET PAST THE TIME FRAME ON THIS REBOOT ITS LIKE THE ORIGINAL BUT EVERYONE IS OLDER AND WELL OLDER

TOOK ME TIME TO ADJUST TO THIS CLOSER SPIN OFF WHEN THEY TAKE THE LEAST LIKED CHARACTER FROM ONE SHOW AND PUT THEM AS THE LEAD OF ANOTHER ITS DIFFICULT TO GET PAST THE DISLIKE BUT AFTER A BIT IT BECAME MORE LIKE THE CLOSER AND I MADE THE CHANGE

not just a cop show theres some real science here in fact the science is the real basis for the show i find it very interesting where as the cop side is a little basic but i love the characters

every life has a story and im in love with this show from the very first episode i laugh i cry i feel totally invested in this series
