I wasn’t alive for the ‘80s, but this show feels pretty on point to me. Country clubs, legwarmers, drugs, alcohol, Bar Mitzvahs, homemade sex tapes… that’s all the ‘80s was, right? The MVP here is definitely Craig Roberts, as David, who grounds the show amidst a wacky cast of characters. The “Freaky Friday” episode, during which he swaps bodies with his dad (Richard Kind), reveals the extent of Roberts’s range and was without a doubt my favorite episode.
