Well done period piece. Overly dramatic at some points, but visually well done, as well as creditably good acting.
I hope that there will be a 3rd season, so that more of the cultural aspects of Georgian London can be explored.
Sadly missed, cancelled 15 years ago....
Family, Community and boring mediocrity.....
I can just envision OSC tagging his name to the credits and running to the bank to deposit the check from BYU...
This series could have been much more...
Star Trek: Disappointment
I just finished episode 2 and sadly I must say that I am somewhat disappointed. The plot is stale, the characterizations are flat and the acting is not close to first rate.
I will give the series a little more time in deference to the franchise, but I don't think that this is going to meet the expectations of the loyal trekkie fans.....
Sad.....
Up to episode 9 and my disappointment only increases. Poor story lines, poor acting, non-relevant and uninteresting characters. It is surprising that CBS chose to renew this mess for another season. I don't think that Jason Isaacs can save this..
But I will slog on for 6 more episodes to see if there is any redemption ahead...
Sad......
I for one am enjoying the series. It is a bit on the outside, but it is cleverly done and the historical concept keeps the story new and interesting every week. I hope it is continued or picked up by another network.
It seems like a lot of contrived conspiracy theory claptrap to me... 6 hours of suppositions and fragments...
Great show, many twists..... Hope for season 2 and 3 and more
Mediocre, feel good, melodrama... It all comes out good at the end....
An interesting concept, but moving slowly,
Dialog in Portuguese(Brazilian) with English subtitles....
