Decent show. It is the typical Cinemax After Dark shows and like most tv shows, season 1 was way better than season 2. There's a little bit of a love story, dysfunctional relationships, and a whole lot of sex
Phenomenal show! The aspect I like the most is it's brave approach to the sexuality of the black woman. Nola Darling is apologetically boss
I thoroughly enjoyed this show. The writers kept this show interesting throughout the series. I will admit, there were some lulls here and there but the ending was definitely not expected. Might have looked a little forced given the abrupt ending but it worked well with the flow of the show
Decent premise and acting but character development is lacking. It takes a while to understand the back stories and it eventually gets monotonous. Here's to hoping it gets better and soon.
Quite a good show for anyone looking for a little bit of drama mixed in with the history of medicine (kind of). Though most of the characters are fictional and the events might not have happened, it gives the viewer an insight into how far medicine has traveled in the last 100 years. Not quite the show you'd expect on Cinemax but quite good nonetheless.
