This is a refreshing take on Norse mythology, seeing things from a different perspective. Reading the subtitles is worthwhile. This show has a supernatural angle combined with characters struggling with life in general and even an environmental side. Worth watching! I am very happy to see that another season is in the works.
I was only disappointed that this show ended with no closure. I was drawn in immediately - there have always been those whose way of life is threatened by outsiders. the one thing that I couldn't get around is where all the ATVs came from. Must have traded for that Farrell wine.....

this was not a show I normally would have started watching, but I did and was hooked! I enjoy having the story behind the pretty faces revealed for what it really is - and show television idols are really human after all.
This is a very gritty, engaging adaptation of Diana Gabaldon's excellent book series. I am anxiously awaiting Season 3...
