I started reading the books (the original trilogy) I am still at the 1st book "The sword of shannara" . (that's the story of Will's father) It remind too much of the LOTR. May that's why MTV started from the second book. The show is I great. The books are very well written. So I hope the producers and the director will do their job as they have to. they have a great plot, so the only thing is to represent it as it is.
Ya some of the characters are not exactly the same as they are represented in the book, but the cast is very close to what it has to be. great job on that. ya Allanon should be higher but that's fits also :)

it is pretty interesting although sometimes to be and pretty boring. but can't be without it. The love triangle becomes pretty interesting. Just stop making every creature a supernatural, that's kind of weird.

if you want to get rest and laugh, thats your show
