h2 { padding: 15px 0 5px; } Ah the Super Bowl, the one time of the year when you might care more about the commercials than the featured programming they're sandwiched between. They are elevated to an art form, each one to be savored instead of fast forwarded through (well, the good ones anyway). We've rounded up some of our favorites from this year. Doritos Blaze vs. Mountain Dew Ice Tide Commercials with David Harbour Alexa Loses Her Voice Evelyn Pitches Sprint M&M Becomes Danny DeVito Avocados from Mexico’s Perfect Society Febreze Bleep Don’t Stink Tourism Australia’s Fake Dundee Trailer Budweiser Disaster Relief NFL Time of My Life Kia Stinger Dream On Lexus Black Panther   Which commercials were your favorites this year? Sound off in the comments!
Which TV series will your friends (and the entire internet) be talking about this week? Stay informed — or at least be able to fake it — with SideReel's weekly guide to The Most Important Shows on TV.   Broad City (Season Finale) Wednesday at 8 pm on Comedy Central Why: Oh Broad City , how do I love thee, let me count the ways… It’s been another riotously funny season for Abbi and Ilana: they’ve recovered from Trump’s election, tripped on mushrooms in an amazing animated episode, Abbi finally got to train Shania Twain, and there was even some emotional development as Ilana caught the boyfriend bug (as well as bed bugs *shudder*). There lies only one final episode between us and a nine month drought, and the only salve for that thought is the knowledge that the Broad City finales always shine. Who could forget the epic birthday celebrations of seasons past? This time around they’re upping the stakes with a full-on friendiversary celebration, which will go terribly awry as only Broad City can. And if you need a little pick me up between seasons, go watch the original web series on Youtube! Prepare to talk about: whether you’re the Ilana or Abbi in your friendships; how you’re going to celebrate your next friendiversary (no, those Facebook videos don’t count).   Psych: the Movie (TV movie) Thursday at 8 pm on USA Network Why: It’s finally happening, Psych-os!! We don’t have to "wait for it" any longer. It’s been three years since Psych left us with the interruption of Shawn’s proposal to Juliette, and this week will see us watching our favorite psychic detective (#sorrynotsorry, The Mentalist ) return to the small screen in a special holiday movie. Shawn and Gus are about to open their own detective agency, psychphrancisco, when they get caught up in yet another mystery. The full gang is back together, with the notable exception of Detective Lasseter (Timothy Omundson, who is recovering from a stroke and couldn’t join the movie shoot), and will include plenty of appearances from fan-favorite characters. It promises to satisfy the show’s rabid and undyingly loyal fan base, who are largely responsible for bringing the show back to life. Get ready for classic Psych : new nicknames for Gus, food talk, Shawn & Gus duets, and obscure 80s references. It’s going to be a fun, lighthearted hour and a half that will psych you out in the end — no seriously, prepare yourself for another cliffhanger. Prepare to talk about: whether this is leading to a sequel or full series resurrection; was it awkward for James Roday & Maggie Lawson playing those roles again since they broke up irl?; how many pineapples you spotted.   The Crown (Season Premiere) Friday at 3 am on Netflix Why: Calling all British royal family enthusiasts, period TV fans, costume lovers, and anyone who just enjoys great TV (so… everyone). Netflix’s Emmy and Golden-Globe winning show offering a peek into the private life of young Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip is returning for its second season. And while the subject matter may sound dry, the show itself is a tension-filled examination of the difficulties of being both a queen and a young woman. This season promises a look into a marriage in crisis as Phillip struggles with always taking second place to Elizabeth’s royal duties and his feelings of emasculation, as well as the fallout of Princess Margaret’s broken heart. We’ll see them venture beyond the bubble of Buckingham Palace, from the Olympics in Australia to trips of state to Ghana to entertaining the Kennedys, while Margaret finds ways to escape the constraints of royal life with her new love interest, photographer Anthony Armstrong-Jones. Meanwhile in the background, you get to enjoy the lavish costumes and sets of one of Netflix’s highest bankrolled shows (look out for a fashion showdown against Jackie O). Prepare to talk about: whether Olivia Coleman can live up to Claire Foy as Elizabeth next season; how much you’re looking forward to the Princess Diana drama; how lucky Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are that Princess Margaret paved the way for them.   Morgaine is the web content developer of SideReel, and she’s pretty sure Abbi & Ilana are her best friends, she just hasn’t met them yet. div.post p { text-align: justify; }
For fans who just can't wait until Valentine's Day for their House of Cards fix, Netflix has something to keep you occupied: starting today, they are streaming the series with the director's commentary. All six of the season one directors (David Fincher, The Social Network ; James Foley,  Glengarry Glen Ross ; Carl Franklin, Homeland ; Charles McDougall, The Good Wife ; Allen Coulter, The Sopranos ; Joel Schmacher, Falling Down ) chimed in for the discussion. To access the commentary, select it under the subtitle menu on the Netflix player. Happy viewing!
  Well, Bones fans, it's finally happened. After eight seasons of will-they-won't-they action, two proposals, and one lovechild, the wedding of the 2013-2014 television season - among the crime dramas, at least - went off (mostly) without a hitch. And really, the show creators owe it to us. You know that moment of pure bliss you experience when two television characters who are obviously meant for each other finally give into the inevitable? Thanks to Emily Deschanel's unexpected pregnancy, we the viewers were denied the joy of watching that moment. Luckily, the show has provided us with no shortage of adorable exchanges between the couple, so as Bones and Booth jet off on their honeymoon, let's take a brief walk down memory lane to remember a handful of our favorite B&B moments.   Episode:  Season 5, Episode 15 The Parts in the Sum of the Whole It was the 100th episode, that magical moment that TV shows always save something special for. Like, you know, the lead characters getting together. And while this episode turned out to be an epic tease on that front, it did treat us to footage of their first kiss - a  steamy, tequila-induced, rain-soaked affair.       Episode: Season 2, Episode 8 The Woman in the Sand The introduction of everyone's favorite undercover duo, Tony and Roxy! The whole episode was full of awesome, awkward moments, but the best is the look in Booth's eyes when Bones steps out in a clingy little black dress. Sparks: prepare to fly.       Episode: Season 3, Episode 9 The Santa in the Slush In case everyone wasn't already in love with Caroline, this scene clinched it. She got us the first on-air kiss between our favorite FBI agent and forensic anthropologist. And that little bit about swapping gum is the kind of writing that keeps us watching this show. Priceless.       Episode: Season 5, Episode 10 The Goop on the Girl Well, if the writers weren't going to give us the satisfaction of seeing B&B together yet, at least they were having fun with it. And it definitely was fun to see Bones "forced" to undress Booth, in a scene that undoubtedly gave birth to a mountain of fan fiction…       Episode: Season 9, Episode 5 The Woman in White The vows that everyone has waited 171 episodes to hear will certainly make even the most stony-eyed among us weep like a little girl… so if you haven't watched them yet, go do it. DO IT NOW!!! Just remember to keep tissues handy.       Obviously this is but a small sampling of the huge library of adorable B&B moments, so be sure to let us know in the comments which ones are your favorites!

Hopefully you’ll actually remember what happened on tonight’s episode by the time this comes around. Short attention spans! We haz them. Go to episode » 11:00PM on AMC

NBC's Grimm has no shortage of living fairy tales running around Portland, and keeping them all straight is enough to make anyone long for their own set of Aunt Marie's Grimm diaries. But since it seems unlikely that Nick will let those out of the trailer anytime soon, SideReel has put together its own infographic guide to the magical creatures that make life difficult for Nick and the rest of Portland PD. (Updated through Season 3) Check out the new version that covers up to Season 4! (Click to view larger)
