This show scared the hell out of me as a kid. Doubtful that it held up.

A very poor knock off of he superior show The Returned.

Nostalgia compels to write that years ago this was a fun show.

like most shows its strength is in the early years of its run.

Terribly made BS filled mini-series.

Maybe because I am close to the source material i felt the adaptation wasn't very good.

Purely going on nostalgia here but I thought the show was really good.

Not a very good adaptation of the book unfortunately.

Once Angel stopped following the tired Buffy way of doing business and told its stories its own way the show got great. Angel also had what is probably the greatest series finale ever even though it was shot as a season finale.
