A February 2011 report on a family's struggle to survive in an Oregon wilderness in winter after taking a wrong turn off an interstate in 2006. The Kims of San Francisco intended to take a shortcut to the coast, but the road they took was not maintained and they were caught in a snowstorm. Kati Kim and her two daughters (ages 4 and seven months) were rescued after nine days, but Kati's husband, James, who left in search of help, died. The report is based on interviews with Kati.
