A little boy, Kazuma Hoshino, and a girl stand in a forest; the latter of whom is upset that the boy is leaving. The boy cheers her up and promises to stay friends. Kazuma, now a teenager, awakens and finds himself sitting across from his brother Ayumu on a train. As Ayumu gazes out the window in awe, Kazuma is surprised at how much the scene resembles the one in his dream.
