Ralph Jones tells his psychiatrist of a disturbing episode. He came home from work one day an had a fight with his wife. He then wished that he was single again and was transported back to his bachelor days. Ralph's problem, however, is that when he tried
The premise of this show is familiar as it touches on real life stories of fertility doctors who have a done this disgusting act... I believe at least four have been caught, one in Canada, two in the States and another somewhere in Europe. While it makes for an interesting read in the newspaper and one might Google months later to see how the courts resolved the cases, unfortunately it makes for a very boring TV show.
The actors are all decent but there are no stand outs or Emmy winners here for acting, writing or directing. Three episodes in and I don't care about any of the characters and that is really something that is necessary for a show to survive, especially when the plot is so predictable. This would be a good summer show when nothing else good is on but it surely isn't a good fit for an autumn evening when there are plenty of other shows to watch that are significantly higher quality than this one. It gets a "meh" rating from me.
The plot kind of resembles or is closely similar to the Netflix show Sisters.
I was excited by the preview but the show itself was a real letdown.
I decided to give it a shot and I was hooked from the first episode. I really like that this isn't a storyline we've seen before and 3 episodes in I can say it's well written, acted, and I'm looking forward to see where it all ends up going.
