'American Horror Story's' Sarah Paulson: 'There is love' between Cordelia and Fiona

Sarah Paulson's Cordelia had an emotional last episode of "American Horror Story: Coven," when she regained not only "the sight," but the ability to see the future, while simultaneously losing her mother, Fiona (Jessica Lange).Paulson tells E! News that in the end, there was love between Fiona and Cordelia, just not the typical kind."There is love there. It's not expressed in a typical mother/daughter fashion, but it is there. We have to wonder if the show will be more darkly funny like it is for "Coven," or if it'll return to the grittier place of "Asylum." Paulson tells E! that's one of the exciting aspects of... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/01/american-horror-storys-sarah-paulson-there-is-love-between-cordelia-and-fiona.html

'American Horror Story: Coven': Death is the best thing to happen to the coven

"American Horror Story: Coven" brings the gore in "Go to Hell," but it might be our favorite episode so far. Who knew we just needed to cull a few witches to feel like the coven is in really good shape? The SupremeThe episode opens with an awesome witchy PSA that informs us just what the Seven Wonders test consists of: Telekinesis, concilium (mind control), transmutation, divination, vitalum vitalis (exchanging life force), descensum (decent into the underworld) and pyrokinesis.Cordelia is still determined to unite the coven and defeat her mother, but she is dismayed to find out that she did not regain "the sight" by blinding herself with a pair of pruning shears. That's a bummer. However, Fiona informs her that it's not about self-mutilation, it's about believing in yourself. Fiona gives Delia a necklace that belonged to Fi's mom and Cordelia gets "the sight" back. She then has a vision of all the witches dead, scatted... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/01/american-horror-story-coven-death-is-the-best-thing-to-happen-to-the-coven.html

'American Horror Story: Coven' Parallels Mean Girl Culture

I don't think we needed to watch (and adore) Tina Fey's Mean Girls in order to understand that a lot of girls just don't have each other's backs.
