Zap2it: What have you been learning from playing your new "Army Wives" character?Torrey DeVitto: I'm seeing both sides, since I'm playing an Army wife but also someone who has been in the service herself. All the producers are amazing at accessing all the research that we as actors want and need.I did boot camp with the guys, just to have the background of knowing what my character went through by experiencing it firsthand. [Military officers] just have to be so mentally on-point and not fall apart when things start going crazy.Zap2it: How was boot camp for you?Torrey DeVitto: It was awesome. I loved it. We did some crazy physical training, and it kicked my a**! I'm still sore from it.
