'Arrow' Season 2: Manu Bennett dishes on Slade Wilson's 'Promise'

"Arrow" fans were shocked in Season 2 when Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett) appeared alive and (mostly) well in present-day Starling City. An even greater shock came when it was revealed that Slade wanted to destroy his former friend, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). Now that Oliver and Slade have met again, what's next? Bennett reveals a few teases in an interview with Zap2it -- Slade has a "Promise" to keep in upcoming episodes.Zap2it: What happens with Slade on the island in upcoming episodes?Manu Bennett: On the island, you see the unraveling of a man who's now on mirakuru, and Slade's up-and-down, up-and-down. Oliver and Sara are debating telling him anything about Shado and the death of the Shado, because they know Oliver feels partly responsible because of the choices involved -- and Slade doesn't know about that. Obviously, it's a key piece of information that is just waiting to be dug up when Slade finds out.... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/03/arrow-season-2-manu-bennett-dishes-on-slade-wilsons-promise.html

'Arrow': Felicity on 'The Flash'? Remembering Barry Allen?

"Arrow" Season 2 has already done its part in creating a spinoff, "The Flash." That potential show's main character, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), showed up for two December episodes of "Arrow." In this short time, Barry flirted with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), learned Oliver's secret and ended up in a super-power inducing coma.Is that the last audiences will hear from Barry? Could Felicity show up in the new series to visit her friend?A recent interview with Rickards conducted by TVFanatic addresses these questions. As for future mentions of Barry, Rickards sounds very certain in saying the young man's name will come up on "Arrow." He was last mentioned in a January episode, when Barry was said to still be in a coma following the StarLabs explosion.Obviously, the Starling City people aren't about to forget Barry easily. The "Flash" pilot is a go and about to start production, so could Felicity cross over for a bit... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/02/arrow-felicity-on-the-flash-remembering-barry-allen.html

Then my wife said, "I just Googled this character and he's kind of a big thing in the DC world."It's like there's a nice little history to him. 'Arrow' EPs Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg tease Birds of Prey, Suicide Squad and what's next for Team Arrow

While there is still another two weeks to go before we get a new episode of "Arrow," that doesn't mean we can't make the wait less painful with juicy scoop straight from the "Arrow" bosses themselves. Now that Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Sara (Caity Lotz) are hooking up again, Oliver severed ties with his mother Moira (Susanna Thompson) over the truth about Thea's (Willa Holland) real father, and Slade (Manu Bennett) ominously vowed to "take care" of Moira, our favorite residents of Starling City have enough on their plates already without adding more vigilantes to the mix.
