Ash vs Evil Dead star Bruce Campbell has found that jumping back into the shoesof zombie fighter Ash Williams is not as seamlessat 57 as it was when he first played the role at 23 in the original Evil Dead movie. ‘Ash vs. Evil Dead’ Cast Picks the Best Scenes of the Franchise

Are you a fan of the Evil Dead movies? Then I’d like to bet you know how difficult it is to pick just one favorite moment from the series. However, that didn’t stop me from asking the cast of Ash vs. Evil Dead to share their picks while promoting the show. On October 31st, Bruce Campbell returns as Ash Williams, everyone’s favorite stock boy who once took on a slew of bloodthirsty demonic zombies. Ash thinks he’ll be able to avoid the horrors of the Necronomicon forever by keeping it tucked away in his trailer, but one night, he slips and accidentally unleashes the evil again. Now with the help of his coworkers from the Value Stop, Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) and Pablo (Ray Santiago), Ash will have to arm up and dismember some more Deadites. On top of that, he’s got Lucy Lawless’ character, Ruby, on his tail as well as Jill Marie Jones’ Amanda Fisher, a disgraced Michigan State Trooper who’s determined to prove that Ash is at fault for her partner’s murder. The Most Important Shows on TV: Week of October 26, 2015

Which TV series will your friends (and the entire internet) be talking about this week? Stay informed—or at least be able to fake it—with SideReel's weekly guide to The Most Important Shows on TV.   Supergirl (Series Premiere) Monday at 8:30pm on CBS Why: A generically attractive Glee alumna stars as Superman's cousin! She's also a superperson (as the show's name would imply), but instead of working as a lowly newspaper reporter (so last century), she works as an assistant to the head of a media conglomerate. Anyway, she's totally modern and cool and she probably owns a copy of Lean In because she wants to have it ALL: a career, a love life, AND super powers. Prepare to talk about: Why the superpeople of Krypton feel the need to come to Earth all the time and then hide their powers when they could live like f**king gods; when the inevitable crossovers with Arrow and The Flash will happen; why the superpeople are still all about the capes when they're purely ornamental.   Grimm (Season Premiere) Friday at 10:00pm on NBC Why: Just look at that picture! Birdwoman! Also, probably the hunting of some evil Wesen creatures ! Nothing can be taken for granted when you're a grimm! Also Adalind is carrying a mini-grimm in her WOMB (grossest word)! Time to end another sentence with a ! Prepare to talk about: What kind of mom Adalind can be to a grimm; how you'd feel if you were a birdperson; whether David Giuntoli (Nick) is the best former Road Rules cast member (the answer is yes).   Ash vs. Evil Dead (Series Premiere) Saturday at 9:00pm on Starz Why: Much like Crossfit, or veganism (or going cable TV-less), if someone is a fan of the Evil Dead series, you will definitely know without having to ask. We have one of those on staff here (her name is Zaz and she is my boss so I can't say anything bad). Anyway, all that being said, it is a great series of movies, and now it's a TV show, and you love TV! Don't worry, it's premium cable, so it'll have all the gore and swearing one could want. Prepare to talk about: How it came to be that a low-budget 1981 horror movie managed to spawn a legion of fans, two sequels, one remake, and a TV spinoff (then again, look at Star Trek ...); how you think you'd react to demonic possession; how "groovy" Bruce Campbell is.     Leah E. Ash vs. Evil Dead's Bruce Campbell Explains How to Pass the 'Blood Test'

To work alongside Sam Raimi ( Evil Dead, Spider-Man ), one needs to develop a kinship with blood. Bruce Campbell, the demon-battling veteran and hero of the forthcoming Ash vs. Evil Dead , explained as much at a Paley Center for Media panel Tuesday night, just a couple weeks ahead of the STARZ series' premiere. "I enjoyed working with [my co-stars] all very much, because they passed the blood test," the actor said, detailing how being drenched in blood is akin to being trapped in special-effects make-up for hours, as he comically clawed at his face. "Theres always a point we call it 'the latex point' where you go, Get this fucking shit off my face! And you run away, taking your clothes off. But they all passed the [blood] test."   Read More... //www.vulture.com/2015/10/ash-vs-evil-dead-bruce-campbell-blood-test.html
