HOLY COW BATMAN! was this produced by J.J.Abrams the king of lens flares...? cos it was used WAY TOO MUCH in the pilot episode, think 'Star Trek' but 50x worse. The episode itself though when I wasnt blinded by those effects was brilliant, a nice sci-fi show to start 2017 off and I hope this will get a season 2 cos it truly deserves it. It kinda reminds me of a mix between Firestarter, Heroes (season 1), Matrix (minus the kung-fu), I hope the rest of the season dont go overboard with the lensflare effect thoguh i'll definitely be watching the rest of this season.

EDIT: Okay just realized it is made by Tim Kring, the queen of lens flares.. just watched the remaining 8 episodes and well.. as a whole, it's a great series with minor flaws, such as acting being a little dodgy at times AND.. the cgi could look a lot better but still, a good watch, bring on season 2.. NOW!
