'Bones' Season 9, episode 16: Terrorism and life insurance in 'The Source in the Sludge'

"Bones" Season 9 is back on Mondays with episode 16, the "The Source in the Sludge." The show wastes no time in showing its stuff, bringing in CIA Agent Danny Beck (Freddie Prinze Jr.), terrorism and chopping up eyeballs. Also, there is a lot about eels, life insurance and PhD orals exams. Those parts are integral to the story if not obviously as fascinating at first glance. Find out why in this recap.Terrorism and murder sometimes look a lot alikeThe victim of the week is Sari Nazeri, a young refugee from Afghanistan. Sari and her brother, Aziz, had been brought over to the US by the CIA after Sari led the military to a terrorist leader named Ibrahim. With her help, the man was killed in a targeted airstrike.Or was he? Sari is found dead in a trout pond, left in a bag full of eels. It turns out that this was once Ibrahim's trademark... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/03/bones-season-9-episode-16-terrorism-and-life-insurance-in-the-source-in-the-sludge.html

Bones: Can Booth and Brennan Trust Booth's Old Friend?

On Monday's  Bones , Booth will be forced to question the honesty of a former brother in arms. During the episode (8/7c, Fox), Booth(  David Boreanaz ) and Brennan ( Emily Deschanel ) investigate the murder of a woman that seems to indicate a believed-dead Afghani terrorist is still alive. As it turns out, the victim was actually a CIA source for Danny Beck (returning guest star  Freddie Prinze Jr. ), one of Booth's buddies from his Army special forces days. And although FBI-CIA communication is never particularly strong, Danny makes things worse by keeping very important information from Booth during the investigation.   Read More... //www.tvguide.com/News/Bones-Freddie-Prinze-Jr-Stephen-Nathan-1079055.aspx?rss=breakingnews

'Bones' Season 9 photos: Meet Brennan's new squintern, Rodolfo Fuentes

"Bones" Season 9 has a new squintern joining the ranks of the Jeffersonian. Rodolfo Fuentes (Ignacio Serricchio) will come to work for Brennan in "The Repo Man in the Septic Tank."As is so often the case when she meets a new assistant, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) isn't exactly thrilled to meet Rodolfo. He does, however, have a lot of expertise. That should be helpful when dealing with bones coming out of a septic tank. But will Rodolfo be able to handle Brennan's typically dismissive attitude? He is, after all, her equal in many credentials.Maybe the new squintern can prove his worth to the others -- Brennan does listen to them."The Repo Man in the Septic Tank" episode of "Bones" airs Monday, March 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/03/bones-season-9-photos-meet-brennans-new-squintern-rodolfo-fuentes.html

'Bones' Season 9 video: Mondays, terrorism and Freddie Prinze Jr. in 'The Secret in the Sludge'

The next time anyone sees "Bones," it will be on a Monday. Starting on March 10 with "The Secret in the Sludge," the show will air Mondays at 8 p.m.What's coming along with "Bones" on that Monday? The answer involves Freddie Prinze, Jr., terrorism and insurance. The case of the week in "The Secret in the Sludge" is connected to a terrorist, bringing back Prinze as CIA Agent (and old Booth buddy) Danny Beck. Brennan (Emily Deschanel) isn't exactly thrilled at the CIA's intrusion on the case, especially since -- due to insurance woes -- she is being pressured to stay out of the field for the most part.Does this mean the end of the Booth-Brennan partnership at work? Hopefully no, since that is one of the very best parts of "Bones.""Bones" will return Monday, March 10 at 8 p.m. on FOX.... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/02/bones-season-9-video-mondays-terrorism-and-freddie-prinze-jr-in-the-secret-in-the-sludge.html

'Bones' series finale: Ghosts return for the end?

"Bones" has already been renewed for Season 10, but there are already some plans in place for the series finale -- whenever that is. Series creator Hart Hanson has apparently had ideas for years of how he wants the procedural to end.In an interview with TVGuide.com, Hanson says that he first came up with his finale idea way back in Season 4. He wants the main characters of Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) to take some time to look back over all the work they accomplished together over the years. It's not quite as simple as that though: "It would take place in a spooky world where all the victims they got just for show up, perhaps as ghosts. And a few bad [guys] too," Hanson explains.Who might be those ghosts? Hanson says he wants to see such blasts from the past as Senate intern, Cleo Eller (the first victim in the... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/02/bones-series-finale-ghosts-return-for-the-end.html
