'Breaking Bad' sneak peek: Walt's double-edged advice

Even when he's giving good advice, Walter White can manage to be less than honest with himself. In this exclusive first look at Sunday's (Sept. 4) "Breaking Bad" episode, "Hermanos," Walt (Bryan Cranston) is in for his regular cancer scan when he meets a nervous, more recently diagnosed fellow patient. The guy tells a sob story about how the cancer has altered his life's plans, and Walt scoffs."Never give up control. Live life on your own terms," he says. "... One of these times -- hell, maybe even today -- I'm going to hear some bad news. But until then, who's in charge? Me. That's how I live my life."As far as the other patient knows, that's a pretty good pep talk. But we know that Walt's world has been spinning out of control for most of this season, so his words come across more as an attempt to convince himself of what he says than... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/09/breaking-bad-sneak-peek-walts-double-edged-advice.html

Jesse Promises Walt He'll Kill Gus on 'Breaking Bad' (VIDEO)

Walt and Gus have always had a contentious relationship. That happens sometimes in the crystal meth business, especially when people start dying. On Sunday's episode of 'Breaking Bad' (Sundays, 10PM on AMC), the relationship got even worse when Walt's partner, Jesse, promised to kill Gus, the man responsible for distributing the meth Walt makes. Walt pushed Jesse not to trust Gus, reminding him of all of the horrific things that have happened under Gus's watch. But to kill Gus, Jesse would have to get close to him, which would require forgetting all of those horrific things. "What about this girlfriend of yours?" said Walt. "And her little brother? The man looked you straight in the eye and told you no more children, but that very night, that little boy, he winds up -- Gus can't possibly think you'd forget that." //www.aoltv.com/2011/08/29/jesse-promises-walt-he-will-kill-gus-on-breaking-bad-video/

Aaron Paul: Season Five of 'Breaking Bad' Will Not Be the Last

Aaron Paul has given a light of hope that "Breaking Bad" will last longer than it is planned. While AMC has confirmed that the upcoming fifth season will be the last for the critically acclaimed series, the 31-year-old actor thinks there is more story to be made into two seasons.  "We want to end it on a good note," he told E! Online. "Our creator Vince [Gilligan] always said that the show would probably end around season four, but they stretched it out a bit longer, so there is a bit more story to tell. We will probably split it up between season five and season six."  Read More... //www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00043220.html

Jesse Helps Mike Track Some Missing Meth on 'Breaking Bad' (VIDEO)

Walt keeps pushing and he keeps finding out that he can only get away with so much. Gus has his own agenda on 'Breaking Bad' (Sun., 10PM ET on AMC), and as important as Walt is to the drug empire he's built, he's not going to allow Walt any more leverage over him than he must. Gus is cold in a way that Walt can't comprehend, though he tried to put on a show of how tough he could be for Skyler. All that did was drive her away, and when she came back, she put him right back in his place ... beneath her heel. Meanwhile, Jesse is apparently genuinely impressing Gus now, which will only further drive the wedge between Jesse and Walt. Of course, this was Gus' only intention in the beginning, but now it looks like he may be coming to see Jesse as someone who could genuinely be of value to his organization on his own. //www.aoltv.com/2011/08/22/jesse-helps-mike-track-missing-meth-breaking-bad-video/
