'Buffy Season Eight' ends

Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic will draw to a conclusion this month. Issue #40 will be released on January 19. Dark Horse Comics have previewed the four pages on Robot 6. "Season Eight has at last brought Buffy the long way home, and betrayal comes in the shape of the closest, most unexpected individual of all," reads the solicitation. "Reeling from their losses, the Scoobies will never be the same again." Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight debuted in 2007, following directly on from the events that concluded the television series in 2003. The issue will be written by Whedon and pencilled by series regular Georges Jeanty. Source Here
