Now the show moves a bit into ‘prisoner of the week’ territory. We see a new arrival who took the blame from the drunk driving husband in a hit-and-run where a mentally ill woman was killed. Licenciada Lagos has problems raising her teenage daughter, who gets into trouble racing motorcycles at night with the boyfriend, and when the police shows up, she mentions she is the governor’s daughter, so the police don’t do anything to her. Mom has to come and pick her up and the daughter is pissed because she gets grounded. The prisoners finally get family and conjugal visits. La Magos (the old lady of the Jail) convinces Lorena to call her husband for a conjugal visit, even steals a bikini for her. But Lorena goes off on her husband, will not allow the kids to see her and demands to be freed. (It is harder than it looks to get her out, the neighbor she killed is the daughter of a supreme court judge) La Magos wants to gain Lorena’s trust, but is clear all she wants is some sex with her. The new staff psychologist is an acquaintance of Licenciada Lagos. Lastly ‘La Coronela’ gets some big-ass tasers since Licenciada Lagos won’t allow guns at the Jail. Stressed, Licenciada Lagos goes to visit her lover (a student of hers) and forgets her cellphone at his house. He goes to her house and the older daughter seems to have figured things out and invites to come in. Also, La Bambi and La Negra (the old Jail’s lead guard) aren’t happy to be left behind, and demand the Deputy that he moves them to Capadocia or else they will go public with the real reasons behind the riot.
