It's the final night in what’s been a week-long dinner party war and closing out the party is career-confused Dustin Morrison. Joining him around the dinner table for one last dinner party are arts and crafts lover Sara Meredith, theatre professional Rick Simm, property manager Dawn Muzzo, and tool and die maker Edward Gal.
So confident his cooking skills will earn him the big cash prize, Dustin has been doling out blunt comments and food insults all week. But now that he's the wearing the chef's hat, just how will his own menu fair? To get things spinning, the group uses one diner's hostess gift of an empty wine bottle to play spin the bottle. With all that kissing is out of the way, Dustin preps and serves his first course of the night, bacon wrapped stuffed watermelon. For his main course it's artery clogging buttermilk fried chicken with cornbread and collard greens. After hearing feedback on his menu, Dustin shows he has a sensitive side after all. But he pulls himself together to serve dessert, gingerbread pumpkin trifle. He fails to deliver on his "straight from scratch" claim when his fellow diners quickly discover pre-made ingredients.
Will the cocky host receive rave reviews, or will he get a taste of his own medicine when the other guests take over as candid critics?
