Covert Affairs Season 5 Review Gold Soundz

Well Gold Soundz sure worked as a series finale. And if that ends up being the case, then I would be perfectly happy. Annie and Auggie not romantically together, McQuaid alive, Joan heading up a new task force, Arthur contemplating a Senate run, and the Belenko situation resolved: all good things. That being said, if [] //feedproxy.google.com/~r/tvequals/~3/H0g9ifAX9Us/

'Covert Affairs' Season 5 finale brings an end to the Annie and Auggie era

Note: If you haven't watched the Season 5 finale of "Covert Affairs" the following post contains spoilersIt's been five long years for Annie (Piper Perabo) and Auggie (Christopher Gorham). They've been partners professionally and romantically, but no matter what the state of their personal relationship was they've had each other's back. In Thursday's (Dec. 18) finale of "Covert Affairs" Auggie makes the bold decision to leave the CIA and travel the world -- but what will that mean for Annie?"[That question] will be paramount to the architecture of the [next] season. More than any of our other characters, [Auggie's] been defined by this mold in the CIA," executive producer Matt Corman tells Zap2it. "At least in the short term, they aren't going to have each other close by. It's going to be very interesting and very challenging."RELATED: 'Covert Affairs' Season 5 finale could break up the DPDWith Auggie leaving with Natasha (Liane Balaban), Annie... //feedproxy.google.com/~r/Zap2it/~3/iF2JwZ5ZzEk/covert_affairs_season_5_finale_brings_an_end_to_the_annie_and_auggie_era-2014-12

Covert Affairs Season 5 Episode 16 Review: Gold Soundz

Did we really just say goodbye to Annie Walker and friends? We don't quite know the answer to that question. Damn you, USA Network! Covert Affairs Season 5 Episode 16 was for the most part, a low-key season finale. The writers did really well bringing a lot of stories to a potential close. It was a bit worrying that the wrap-up didn't kick in until the final 10 minutes. We leave these wonderful, vivid characters as they are at an important stage in their lives. They are ready to jump on to new challenges, but If you thought you'd find them all under one roof at Langley, you're sadly mistaken.   Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2014/12/covert-affairs-season-5-episode-16-review-gold-soundz/

Covert Affairs Season 5 Review Frontwards

Season 5 of Covert Affairs has, for the most part, been a welcome change of pace: Henry Wilcox is gone, the addition of Ryan McQuaid as an ally, Belenko as an intriguing villain, Hayley and Stephanie being more than what originally expected. All good things. And yet, Frontwards felt like the beginning of a trip []  Read More... //feedproxy.google.com/~r/tvequals/~3/C5jE7njpoRU/

Covert Affairs Season 5 Review Transport is Arranged

As its done the whole season so far, Covert Affairs covered ground this episode with breakneck speed. In the past (or on a multitude of other shows), it wouldnt surprise me to see Auggies capture be drawn out. Going that route can have its benefits, but more often than not the result is a broken [] //feedproxy.google.com/~r/tvequals/~3/Oz3PpnAXukE/

Covert Affairs Season 5 Episode 14 Review: Transport is Arranged

Well, that wasn't as fast-paced as I expected it to be. On  Covert Affairs Season 5 Episode 14 , Annie continued on her quest to save Auggie from Belenko, but did she succeed? Not really. He saved himself. Annie was more badass than ever this week. She would stop at nothing to find her friend. She was really unpredictable and McQuaid quickly caught on to this when she shot Omar in the leg. The guy was as sketchy as sin. Nobody expected him to really meet Annie and Mcquaid at the border. It was a very smart move to use some unlocked mobile phones to gain entry into the country. When he hesitated before letting them in, it became obvious he knew his life would be on the line if he helped them. It was understandable. The day can't always be saved without some consequences.   Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2014/12/covert-affairs-season-5-episode-14-review-transport-is-arranged/
