'Criminal Minds' Recap: Rossi Honors an Old Debt

In tonight's episode, "The Fallen", the team investigates the murders of several homeless people in California while Rossi (Joe Mantegna) reconnects with someone from his past. Read on to find out what the Criminal Minds writers have in-store for us this week. Setting a bad example The team heads to California after the bodies of two men and one woman are found on the Santa Monica pier. After they learn that all of the victims were transient, the team realizes that the Unsub is trying to eradicate the homeless population in his city. It turns out that the Unsub is a former firefighter who contracted tuberculosis after saving the lives of several homeless people in a warehouse fire. Criminal Minds Review: Semper Fi

Tonight's episode served as a brilliant and heartfelt backdrop to a story that serves as a grateful nod to military veterans.  It had it all:  personal sacrifice, honor, "no one left behind" and most importantly:  appreciation for the personal sacrifice of our nations' military. The UnSub - in " The Fallen " - became unhinged after being ironically kicked off his firefighter job because he had contracted TB after saving two infected homeless people from a fire.  The twig in his mind evidently snapped to the extent where he felt an OCD compulsion to "cleanse" the homeless population through the liberal use of fire and bleach.   Read More... //www.tvfanatic.com/2012/11/criminal-minds-review-semper-fi/

Criminal Minds Season 8 Review “The Fallen”

Criminal Minds  returns this week and the team  is coming to my hometown! Yes, "The Fallen" sees the BAU taking a trip to sunny Los Angeles, and more specifically the beautiful oceanside city of Santa Monica. The episode had one of the cooler  opening scenes that we’ve seen on the show in a while. I loved the juxtaposition of Lindsay’s rendition of Avril Lavigne’s "Keep Holding On" and seeing the killer lace up his boots and pick out his knives. You obviously know what’s going to happen here, but it doesn’t make it any less chilling when you know  that this happy and talented girl is about to meet her  demise.
