Curb Your Enthusiam To Fix Middle Eastern Conflict?

In what could quite possible be either the greatest decision ever made, or the stupidest, a season 8 episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm could be shown to Israeli officials to ease the Middle-Eastern conflict. Visionary lawyer Alan Dershowitz told the Columbia Current  that he has sent the episode "Palestinian Chicken" to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, with the hope that he might "invite [Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas] over to watch it together. And maybe if they both get a good laugh, they can begin a negotiating process." If Dershowitz were to succeed would that mean that Larry David would receive an assist for the Nobel Peace Prize this year? And who better to finally resolve the conflict than the writer of Sour Grapes? Read More... //feedproxy.google.com/~r/tvovermind/tvnews/~3/ewSMHLWOcgw/109247

Top Moments: Ringer Is on a Boat and Bachelor Pad’s Squirmy Awkwardness

Our top moments of the week: 15. Orange You Glad You Did This? Award: Now that  Anderson Cooper  has come out of the closet about  his admiration  for  Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi , it's only fitting that they go out on a proper date. On his  new daytime talk show , the Jersey Shore  star takes Cooper for his  first spray tan . "I had no idea that Mr. Anderstand had muscles," Snooki says, as a sheepish, shirtless Cooper undergoes the process. "So when he took off his shirt, he had, like, a huge peanut muscle. Cool." Cooper, at least, seems pleased with the results: "Wow! I've never had a tan line like that." Does anyone speak Guidette? Please tell us that a "peanut muscle" isn't what we think it is. 14. Best Save:   Al Gore  makes a big no-no when he refers to  Stephen Colbert 's uber-conservative TV host alter-ego as "your character" while appearing on  The Colbert Report . Yes, everyone knows deep down that Colbert isn't  really  like his truthiness-loving persona, but he refuses to break. "I forgot for a moment; I'm so sorry," Gore explains. "You forgot what? You have completely lost me!" Colbert exclaims, before putting air quotes around Al Gore's name and bidding him adieu.  13. Least Self-Aware Reality Show Contestant (a highly competitive category):  Look, we all find overconfident reality-show contestants infinitely entertaining, but when it crosses over into the delusional, a line must be drawn (see No. 11). On the  Big Brother   finale, Adam is peeved that Rachel took Porsche instead of him to the final two, but tells Julie Chen that the fiery redhead, who eventually won, made the right choice for herself. "If I was in the final two, I would've won," he says emphatically. For what exactly? Being useless in practically every single challenge? Ambling through the whole season without any game plan whatsoever? Shaving your beard? Knowing 90210  trivia? In that case, yes, Adam, yes, you definitely would've won. Michael J. Fox Is a Formidable Opponent on 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' (VIDEO)

For the season finale of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' (Sun., 10PM ET on HBO), Larry David tapped one of New York's most famous citizens in Michael J. Fox. As he was playing a version of himself, FOX didn't shy away from his Parkinson's. In fact, it was a major part of the conflict between him and Larry. But Parkinson's wasn't the only potentially controversial subject broached on this episode, as Larry gave a fantastic gift to a 7-year old "pre-gay" boy. Now the give was incredibly well-received and loved by the child, but his mother -- who also happens to be Larry's latest girlfriend -- was none too pleased, accusing Larry of trying to make her son gay. //www.aoltv.com/2011/09/12/michael-j-fox-formidable-curb-your-enthusiasm-video/

'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Season Finale: What the Viewers Are Saying

Larry David  is getting high praise from viewers for the season finale of his HBO show,  Curb Your Enthusiasm,  which aired Sunday night. In the episode, David manages to anger  Michael J. Fox  by drawing a Hitler mustache on Fox’s father-in-law on the cover of BusinessWeek , leading to his accusation that Fox was using his Parkinson’s disease to harass David. In another potentially controversial story line, the star suspects a 7-year-old kid of being gay – and his mother perceives it as somewhat of an insult. Talking to the mom, David calls the kid "flamboyant" and tells her "it must be challenging to have a son like that." He later gifts the child with a sewing machine, which angers his mom, who asks:"Are you trying to turn him gay?" The mom insists that her child is happy and "normal," to which David responds: "I think he might be gay." (Incidentally, the episode follows last week’s story line in which David and guest star  Rosie O’Donnell  were vying for the same bisexual woman.) Top Moments: Rescue Me's Happy Ending, Kate Gosselin's Food Fight and Kimmel's Teary Tribute

Our top moments of the week: 13. Kiss and Tell Award:  Talk about airing your dirty laundry on television. When Vienna and Kasey get into a little lovers' quarrel on  Bachelor Pad  (he wants to have sex; she doesn't), he decides to prove that Vienna isn't shy about getting into bed by name-dropping her previous conquests. Including Wes and Dave Good. To her face. Both guys denied it, of course, but who wouldn't?   12. Worst Athletic Display:  Playing with your daughters? Good. Playing with your daughters after you've been drinking? Not so much.  Joe Giudice  takes things a little too far on  The Real Housewives of New Jersey  when he tries to show up his daughter and flaunt his gymnastics skills ("I'm a professional," he says) shortly after polishing off a glass of red wine. He aims for a simple roll on the mat, but winds up rolling onto the marble floor and chipping his tooth. "When my husband drinks, things get a little out of control," Teresa  explains to the camera. You're telling us? 11. Gone Baby Gone Award:  Sloane tells Eric she could never be with him again when he comes to apologize to her on the penultimate episode of  Entourage . Unfortunately, the most heartbreaking news isn't that she won't take him back, but that she's pregnant and plans to move to New York with their unborn child and still wants nothing to do with him. Sloane moving to Eric's hometown with their yet-to-be-born baby? It makes us wonder  where the show is headed  in the series finale. Can Larry David Help Bill Buckner Find Redemption on 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'? (VIDEO)

Thanks to his own screw-up with a routine grounder in the softball championship game, Larry David found himself able to commiserate with Bill Buckner on 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' (Sun., 10PM ET on HBO). Buckner famously made a similar fielding error in Game 6 of the 1986 World Series for the Boston Red Sox that cost them the game. Buckner was game to come on and make fun of his legacy a bit, when he again missed a routine toss of a signed baseball Larry had gotten signed for Jeff's birthday, on behalf of Susie. Maybe he agreed to it because they wrote in a bit of redemption for him as well. //www.aoltv.com/2011/09/06/bill-buckner-find-redemption-curb-your-enthusiasm-video/
