While Joshua befriends a blind girl named Annie, Alec is arrested for a murder committed by his twin Ben. After Max breaks him out they have a touching moment at Max's apartment. Max struggles to deal with her overwhelming guilt when Logan nearly dies after unintentionally touching her. She decides never to see Logan again, but when Logan sees her with Alec and thinks they're together, he confronts her. She wants to protect him, so she lies, telling him that she is with Alec.
