Camille is devastated when her best friend, Aimee Fredericks (Jamelia), a singer on a Caribbean party boat collapses while on stage during a night of music and cocktails, and dies in Camille’s arms poisoned. The team arrive on the scene to find Camille had taken charge despite her emotional state. Interviewing staff and tourists on the boat, including entertainment boss and agent, Stephen Morrison (Jonny Phillips), and his jealous wife, fellow performer, Eloise Morrison (Amanda Mealing), the cook, Grant (Dexter Fletcher), and the waiter, RJ (Dylan Edwards). Photographs taken at the party, the two singers' 'gargling bottles', a petal from an orchid and a beer bottle at Aimee's home all give Poole an insight into how and why Aimee was murdered.
