‘Doctor Who’ Season 7: “Rings of Akhaten” Promo and Photo

"Stay back! I’m armed…with a screwdriver!" proclaims The Doctor in the trailer for Saturday’s all new Doctor Who episode "Rings of Akhaten." The episode marks Clara’s first proper outing with The Doctor, and in true Who fashion, her first trip in The TARDIS is destined to not go as planned. Clara’s request to "see something awesome" leads The Doctor to take his latest companion "to the inhabited rings of the planet Akhaten" for the Festival of Offerings. While there, Clara will meet the young Queen of Years, who might end up as an offering herself once whatever is lurking in the pyramids demands a sacrifice. 'Doctor Who': 'Bells of Saint John' recap and poll -- What did you think of the midseason premiere?

"Doctor Who" is back and Clara Oswald is finally here to stay (at least as long as any companion is ever here to stay on "Doctor Who").The midseason premiere episode "The Bells of Saint John" faced the tricky task of introducing Jenna-Louise Coleman as Clara a third time -- following her debut as Oswin in "Asylum of the Daleks" and return as Clara in "The Snowmen." 'Doctor Who' 2013 premiere trailer: Clara is 'the only mystery worth solving'

"Doctor Who" returns to BBC America for the second half of Season 7 beginning March 30, and the new trailer previews wild adventures ahead for the Doctor (Matt Smith) and mysterious new companion Clara (Jenna-Louise Coleman)."I look at you every single day and I don't understand a thing about you," the Doctor says about Clara in the trailer. Adding: "You're the impossible girl."Coleman quietly made her debut in the Season 7 premiere, "Asylum of the Daleks," as Oswin Oswald -- a space traveler trapped inside a Dalek. She then returned as Clara in the annual Christmas special, "The Snowmen," as an 1890s governess who the Doctor opens up to after the loss of previous companions Amy Pond and Rory Williams. But just after the Doctor invites her on to the TARDIS, Clara was killed. The Christmas special closed out with a brief glimpse of the character destined to become the Doctor's actual companion. So even... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/03/doctor-who-2013-premiere-trailer-clara-is-the-only-mystery-worth-solving.html
