‘Dragonar Academy’ Anime Begins Hulu Distribution

FUNimation is bringing over another of its simulcasts to get a run on Hulu, which is continuing to build up an impressive library of anime series in the past year to delight fans that are looking for both new and older shows.  Dragonar Academy , which premiered last week on the FUNimation site for EVS members, now has its first episode available on the service. Those that subscribe to Hulu Plus can watch this show on their TV and mobile devices but there’s no high definition option.  The series is originally known as  Seikoku no Ryuu Kishi , which is translated into  Dragonar Academy . The light novels began back in 2010 (with a manga adaptation following in 2011) and the series, authored by Shiki Mizuchi with illustrations by Kohada Shimesaba, has had thirteen volumes published so far, making it something that if successful, can have a bit of a life to it.
